ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I'm a licensed clinical social worker working in the field of caregiving, online pedagogy and systems change. I currently serve as the founder and counselor of Hand in Hand Caregiver Counseling and an adjunct professor at the Columbia School of Social Work.

I have over a decade of experience in the United States and abroad, including Cambodia, India and Indonesia, practicing and training in outpatient, community-based and government agency settings in the areas of mental health and disabilities. I have a strong interest in supporting others to cope with the challenges of caregiving older adults, including loss and grief, as well as the emotional and mental distress that arises from cultural stressors.

My therapeutic approach is warm and nonjudgmental, using a cognitive-behavioral orientation with a relational-cultural lens. Therefore, you can expect counseling that is rooted in evidence-based practice, while being culturally responsive, relationship-centered and tailored to your strengths.
